The Community Outreach Ministry is the heart and hands of the church extended beyond its walls. Its mission is to share the love of Christ through acts of service, compassion, and connection—meeting people where they are and showing that the church cares deeply about the needs of the community.

Purpose & Mission

To demonstrate God's love through action by serving, supporting, and engaging with the local community—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving the Community: Organizing food drives, clothing giveaways, back-to-school events, and care packages for those in need.

  • Partnerships: Collaborating with local shelters, schools, nonprofits, and city services to extend the church’s reach and resources.

  • Community Events: Hosting block parties, health fairs, prayer walks, and holiday outreach to connect with neighbors and build relationships.

  • Evangelism & Encouragement: Sharing the Gospel and offering prayer and hope to those who may not attend church.

  • Disaster or Crisis Support: Being available to help when emergencies arise—offering support, supplies, and spiritual care.

Spiritual Importance

The Community Outreach Ministry reflects the very heart of Jesus’ mission—to serve “the least of these” and bring light to dark places. This team helps bridge the gap between the church and the world, showing that faith isn’t just preached—it’s lived out through love, generosity, and action.

They are key to helping the church "be the church" in everyday life.
